Join Sue on a scenic walk from Richmond to Kingston through Richmond Park

Meet: Richmond Station- outside by the seats.
Cost: £5 payable on the day
With protected status for wildlife conservation, stunning views and historical sites, Richmond Park is the largest of the Royal Parks in London.
From Richmond we will walk the scenic river path route then continue up hill to the park, where we will stop for refreshments at Pembroke Lodge Georgian Mansion; visit the gardens, Henry's Mound and admire the views across London.
Moving on, we will observe the ornate, symbolic Way Gates before entering Sidmouth Woods conservation area; on route to the beautiful Pen Ponds with a view of the White Lodge Royal Ballet School.
Our walk will then continue to the stunning botanical Isabella Plantation, where we will stop to eat our packed-lunch.
In the final stretch we will pass the stunning views across Surrey and Royal Residence of Princess Alexandra. Leaving the park via Kingston Gate, our walk will finish at Norbiton Station.
General Information
From Norbiton Station trains go via Wimbledon (underground) Clapham Junction and Waterloo . Kingston and Richmond.
There are also numerous buses to many destinations.
Should you need to leave early there is a park exit at Ham Gate with buses to Kingston and Richmond.
