Windsor & Eton Riverside to Staines, walking along the River Thames

Come with me on an enjoyable & scenic walk from Windsor & Eton Riverside Station to Staines Station, walking distance 9 miles approx.

We will meet at Windsor & Eton Riverside Station at 11 am sharp and go for a hot drink.

After our hot drink, we will start our walk along the River Thames, where along the route we will be walking through Datchet, where there are some interesting houses to see.

Our walk will take us through Runnymede, where in 1215 King John signed the Magna Carta.

And then to Staines where we finish, with the station being a 10 minute walk away.

Lunch will be bring your own, and we will stop at the Harvester along the route for a drink. {sadly I cannot book lunch as they are not taking bookings for large groups}.

For those that have Oyster Cards, Over 60 or freedom passes you will need a return ticket from Feltham Station.

It is also advised to get the 9.58 am train from Waterloo which arrives at Windsor & Eton Riverside station at 10.56 am.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is definitely not for you, as part of this walk goes along steep paths,

There will be a £5 meetup fee for this walk payable on arrival.

COV'D 19 regulations will apply so please bring along a mask, and hand

sanitiser with you.

Please advise me at least 24 hrs before, so some one else can take your place.

Failure to do so may result in when you sign up for another of my walks, that you will be moved to not going.
