Sunday walk with Paul. Richmond to Boston Manor

Dear all. come and join me on this lovely picturesque walk. which is approximately 6 miles.

We will meet at 11 am at Butterbeans near Richmond Station, for a hot drink. {to get to Butterbeans turn right outside Richmond Station}.

We will leave at 11.20 am after our hot drink and walk to Richmond Lock following the capital ring.

The walk then takes us through Isleworth, and from there we will stop for a drink at the London Apprentice.

Then to Syon Park {image above of Syon House} which we walk past.

Lunch will be in the cafe or restaurant at The Hillier Garden Centre in Syon Park {or you can bring your own}.

Then make our way to pick up the Grand Union Canal at Brentford Lock, and then coming off near Osterley Lock where we will go to a local pub and then to Boston Manor Station which is a few minutes walk away.

Distance of this walk is 4 miles, and time will be allowed for photographs, we will be walking at a leisurely pace.

It is advisable to wear boots as some of the tow paths do get muddy.

This walk is not suitable if you walk slow or have a knee problem.
