Shepperton to Hampton Court exploring the Thames Path {walking dist 6.5 miles}

Come with with me, on a lovely walk exploring the Thames from Walton Bridge to Hampton Court Bridge and seeing some amazing sights.

We will meet outside Shepperton Station at 11.05 am { you will need to buy a rail ticket from Hampton Rail Station which is in zone 6 to Shepperton Rail Station, cost £3.80 if you have a 60's or freedom pass or oyster card, or £2.50 if you have a senior rail card}

{These fares will have gone up, so check before you travel}.

For those travelling from Waterloo, get the 10.12 am train arriving at Shepperton Station at 11.03 am.

From Shepperton Railway Station we will walk through Shepperton Village to The Red Lion Pub for a hot drink.

After our hot drink we will walk to Walton Bridge where we will begin our walk along The River Thames.

We will see Sunbury Weir {featured photo} and lots of boat houses and wildlife along the route.

Our walk will end at Hampton Court Bridge where we will stop for a drink and something to eat, or you can bring your own.

With Hampton Court Station {zone 6} being a few minutes walk away.

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Time will be allowed to take photographs and it is advised to wear walking boots as parts of the tow path, can get muddy.
