Belmont to Wallington via Oaks Park

Come with me and Keith on this exciting walk from Belmont to Wallington via Oaks Park which is becoming very popular.

Walking distance 6 miles.

We will meet at the Cafeina Cafe  near Belmont Station at 11 am for a hot drink.

At 11.20 am we will begin our walk which will take us across Banstead Common, and through woodland into the Oaks Park and the Oaks Park Cafe where there are toilets and this will also be our lunch stop.

After lunch we will follow part of the London Loop, walking through fields going along woodland paths and through farmland and pastures, passing Oaks Park Golf Club and then picking up the Wandle Link path, which takes us to Wallington station where our walk ends.

With the Whispering Moon pub a few minutes walk to the station, which has half hourly services to London Bridge and Victoria.

Total walking distance is about 6 miles.

Meet up cost £7 {please have the right change}

Please note:

If you have a knee problem or walk slow this walk is not for you.

Some of the footpaths can get quite muddy, so please wear the correct footwear.
