Walking the LAMBETH WALK....Another excellent walking tour with Barrie

I suppose when one talks about a tour of Lambeth you would expect
to be visiting the main points of interest, Lambeth Palace, The South Bank, the Wheel and County Hall. Well none of those feature on this walk that takes you around the lesser known back streets and takes
you to see the unexpected, the forgotten and the quirky.

We see how Lambeth celebrates the memory of one of Britains greatest artists, we talk about the first ‘tribe’ of post was British youth culture who grew out of the streets of Lambeth. How a song and dance immortalised a simple working class street of war time Lambeth

We also visit the headquarters of a company whose entrepreneurial boss reminds us…where there’s muck theres money. And then admiring perhaps the most over elaborate facade of any building in London…this tour is a mixture that has been a joy to put together.

This walk lasts about 2 hours 30 min but the price remains the same, please note no inflation here.
