JAPAN AUTUMN COLOURS - 2 WEEK RAIL & ROAD ADVENTURE – with Lits
Details
Zen Gardens, Peace Pagodas, Sacred Shrines, Shoguns & Samurai
TUESDAY 4th - TUESDAY 18th NOVEMBER 2025
Japan in November offers a delightful mix of natural beauty, cultural richness, and pleasant weather. The parks and gardens are at their most picturesque, the festivals and seasonal foods provide unique experiences, and the overall atmosphere is lively and comfortable. Whether you're strolling through colourful parks, enjoying autumn-themed festivals, or savouring seasonal dishes, Japan in November is an enchanting destination.
This tour is tailor-made by our ABTA travel partners at ‘Windows on the Wild’ to criss-cross the country in order to experience its richness and diversity against a backdrop of stunning autumn colours!
Japan’s culture, food, fashion, language, and customs are captivating. Its’ distinctive blend of modernity and tradition is unique. We will see cities with experienced guides from Tokyo, their modern capital reflecting the frenzy and effervescence of the country, to re-born, haunting Hiroshima and onto Kyoto, with its temples and historic neighbourhoods.
Visiting arty Kanazawa, picturesque Takayama, Shogun castles, sanctuary islands, hot springs, lakes, mountains and quaint villages full of folklore. Learning all about the cultures of Samurai, Geisha Girls & Teahouses along the way.
Japan also has one of the most efficient, highly developed transport systems in the world with bullet trains to whizz us through the countryside from city to city and smart coaches to shuttle us to the more tricky to-reach-to destinations.
Our itinerary will cover it all!
And just to be sure…………my Japanese friend (a perfectionist!) has given it the big thumbs up. She has told me where and how to find the best food and enjoy the fullness of its cuisine - she is after all, a Sake Master!
